NOTICE OF PRIVACY PRACTICES

MyDoctorsOffice.NET is a communication provider that allows patients to communicate with their medical providers over the Internet. We are similar to the telephone companies that you use to call your medical providers.

We use encryption to make Internet communication as secure as we can. Most phone converastions are not encrypted. Even though we use encryption we do not recommend that you use the Internet or for that matter, the phone for communicating sensitive information.

We do not release your conversation with your medical provider to anyone for any purpose. We use the date and time information from patient interactions with physicians without identifying indivdual patients to measure how well we are doing getting patients and physicians to use our services. It is up to you and your physician to save documentation of your interactions because we will delete records of those interactions other than the date and time information.

Your physician may have a policy as to what they do with your interaction and under the new federal law know as HIPPA you have certain rights regarding your medical information. Should you have any questions regarding that policy you should contact your medical provider.
